Bazuin Dammekouter
An abandoned factory site along Brugsesteenweg was redeveloped into a future-oriented SME zone covering five hectares. The redevelopment of Dammekouter has resulted in a mixed neighbourhood with a hundred family homes and a sustainable business park: Bazuin.

The project is based on the reuse of existing buildings and combines business and residential living in a single coherent whole. The business park offers space for around sixty companies, with residential and work studios that ensure a smooth transition between the business zone and the surrounding residential area.
With 15,300 m² of green space, Bazuin adds a substantial landscape layer and reinforces the green edge of Roeselare.
